The Australian owned Flight Centre’s Dublin store, newly opened on Dawson Street, required an air conditioning solution that provided a warm and welcome ambience for their customers upon entering their new store.
The challenge
Crystal Air were briefed to provide fresh air ventilation in a cost effective and energy efficient way. Services were to remain exposed for a modern twist to their stores design.
It was essential to their customer needs that Crystal Air provided a fresh, pure, clear ambience to their environment.
The solution
The chosen technology included Mitsubishi Electric’s CityMulti system, 16 VRF sytems, one Heat Pump Air Curtain and three Lossnay Heat Recovery Units.
For this project Mitsubishi Electric’s CityMulti was the stand-out choice as their Lossnay ventilation with Heat Recovery extracts stale air from the environment, allowing for the recovery of heating or cooling energy to either warm or cool incoming fresh air which is then circulated throughout. This provides a comfortable office space for both customers and employees. This solution can help us with the reduction of overall energy costs.
Fitting a CityMulti Air Curtain added the finishing touch to the entrance, providing a warm welcome and allowing for an open door policy at all times.
